During October 2023, Empowers Youth Foundation (EYF) organized two youth-focused initiatives in Faisalabad aimed at strengthening young people’s communication abilities, confidence, critical thinking, and awareness of important social issues.
The activities included a Speech Competition on Peace, Human Rights & Social Justice and a Communication Skills Session on Personality Development.
Together, these initiatives reflected EYF’s commitment to creating opportunities where young people can express themselves, develop practical skills, engage with important social issues, and become more confident contributors to their communities.
Speech Competition — October 2, 2023
EYF organized a Speech Competition focused on the themes of peace, human rights, and social justice.
The event brought together students, educators, community leaders, and young speakers, providing participants with a platform to express their ideas and perspectives on issues affecting society.
The competition encouraged critical thinking, public speaking, confidence, and constructive discussion.
Keynote Personality
The event featured Mr. Kamran Saeed, a renowned speaker, poet, and journalist, as the keynote personality.
He encouraged participants to recognize the power of speech and communication as tools for influencing minds, encouraging dialogue, and contributing to positive social change.
Judging & Feedback
The speeches were evaluated by Raqib Ali Noshahi, an esteemed Naat Khawan, who served on the judging panel.
His constructive feedback encouraged participants to continue developing their communication skills and to use their voices for positive impact.
Young Voices for Social Change
The young speakers addressed issues connected with empathy, justice, peace, human rights, and social responsibility.
Their presentations demonstrated enthusiasm and creativity while highlighting the importance of giving young people opportunities to participate in meaningful discussions about society.
The competition concluded with the announcement of the winners, recognizing outstanding contributions to the dialogue surrounding peace and justice.
Communication Skills Session on Personality Development — October 15, 2023
On October 15, 2023, EYF organized a Communication Skills Session on Personality Development in Faisalabad.
The session focused on helping participants improve their communication abilities, confidence, personal presentation, and interpersonal interactions.
Guidance by Muhammad Rafique
The session was conducted under the guidance of Muhammad Rafique, an esteemed life coach.
He shared practical insights and strategies for effective communication and explained how communication plays an important role in personality development and building meaningful relationships.
Participants were encouraged to become more conscious of how they communicate, express their ideas clearly, interact with others, and develop greater confidence in personal and professional settings.
