Empowers Youth Foundation (EYF), in collaboration with Rescue 1122, organized a one-week Rescue Training Program to equip participants with essential life-saving and emergency response skills.
The training covered CPR, bleeding control, first aid, fire safety, road safety, and emergency preparedness, helping young participants develop the practical knowledge needed to respond effectively during emergencies.
The opening session was attended by Usman, Rescue 1122 Head; M. Abu Bakar, Founder of EYF; Ponam Shazadi, SVP EYF; and Maham, VP EYF, highlighting the importance of youth participation in community safety initiatives.
Expert trainers from Rescue 1122 delivered a combination of theoretical instruction and practical drills, allowing participants to develop hands-on emergency response skills.
The program concluded with a certification ceremony on September 14, 2024, marking the completion of the training and reinforcing EYF’s commitment to community preparedness, public safety, and youth capacity development.
